MiniLDV©
A new Laser Doppler system measuring only 38 mm (1.5") in diameter
is available both as a stand-alone sensor and as part of a computer-controlled positioned system
for characterizing flow in boundary layers and other flows.
Micro S3©
An Optical Micro Shear Stress Sensor
Designed using the latest advancements in diffractive and integrated
optics technology, MicroS3© is the first
commercially available micro-optical shear stress sensor capable of
measuring velocity gradients within 100 micrometers in the sub-layer of
a submerged body. Only a few millimeters square, it can be embedded
flush into the wall over which a flow is to be measured. Our publications regarding the device are
available online.
MicroV© The first commercial
embeddable time-of-flight velocimeter, useful for flow and boundary
layer measurements in many applications including wind tunnels, vent
systems, and robotics. Designed using the latest (patent pending)
advancements in diffractive optics, it measures the velocity of flow or
objects at a fixed distance 3-24 millimeters from the surface of the
sensor.

VolumeMapper© A New Technique for True 3-D Flow Mapping
VolumeMapper© is the cutting edge in TRUE 3D whole field Particle Image Velocimetry. Unlike other systems that only provide velocities within a plane, VolumeMapper© provides three-dimensional velocity vectors within a volume, instantaneously. VolumeMapper© does not need any time-consuming multi-image calibration as found in stereo DPIV systems, and is therefore easy to set up and use. The VolumeMapper system includes VioCam©, our novel three-dimensional camera, and VioFlow©, the acquisition data processing unit and laser synchronizer unit.
