VioSense Corporation is a California incorporated small business with offices located in Pasadena, a short distance from both Caltech and JPL. The company consists of a core of senior engineers and scientists; a supporting technical staff is augmented by key consultants.

  VioSense develops and markets commercially viable sensor technologies for applications ranging from basic research to complex industrial use. Products include miniature laser sensors using optical MEMS and micro-fabrication technologies, and an imaging system for dynamic three-dimensional mapping of objects and flows. These instruments are used for dynamic 3-D profilometry and as flow-mapping instruments for 2-D and 3-D flows. These new technologies, originally developed at Caltech, and JPL and licensed to VioSense, are covered with several patents and provisional patents. In addition to sensor development, VioSense pursues R&D of custom systems for government and commercial contracts.
